英国BBC放送のコメディ番組"Glam Metal Detectives"のサントラ。主題歌と挿入歌を収録。番組は、架空のロックバンド"The Glam Metal Detectives"が活躍するスケッチを始め、『ゴッドファーザー』のパロディ、50年代のTVコメディのパロディなど複数のスケッチ・シリーズで構成されている。1シーズン全7話放映された。
アルバムのプロデューサーはトリルビス・ホーンスレイとロル・クレーム。このトリルビス・ホーンスレイはトレヴァー・ホーンの変名。
レコーディングは、ロル、ロルの息子でアーカーナのメンバー、レイロ・クレーム、プリファブ・スプラウトなどのプロデューサーのアンディ・リチャーズ、ホーンお抱えのキーボードプレイヤーのジェイミー・ムホベラック、エリック・クラプトン他数多くのアーティストの・バック・ボーカルを担当しているテッサ・ナイルズによりバック・トラックが録音された。
