ニール・セダカの英国進出2作目。邦題は「ピース・アンド・ラヴ」。前作に引き続きストロベリースタジオで制作された。レコーディングは既に10ccデビュー後の1973年春に行われた。演奏はセダカと10ccの4人。前回はエンジニアだけだったエリック・スチュアートも今回はギターで演奏に加わっている。作詞には、前作のフィル・コディの他に、再びハワード・グリーンフィールドも召集された。
全英チャート13位と大ヒットするも、本国アメリカではリリースすらされなかった。イギリスでシングルカットされた「スタンディング・オン・ジ・インサイド」は26位、「ラスト・ソングを二人で」も31位とヒットしている。
セダカは翌年、ジェイムス・テイラーのセッション・チームと共にアルバム「雨に微笑を」を制作。このアルバムもアメリカでは発売されなかったが、イギリスでは17位とヒットしている。これらのセダカの作品に惚れ込んだエルトン・ジョンが、自身のレーベルのロケット・レーベルからアメリカ向けに「ソリテアー」「ピース・アンド・ラヴ」「雨に微笑を」からの編集版「セダカズ・バック」をリリース。シングルカットされた「雨に微笑を」が全米チャート1位を獲得し、文字通りセダカの音楽シーンへの復活となった。
