1995年結成のフィンランド出身のゴス・メタル・バンド、H.I.M.。正式バンド名は"His Infernal Majesty"。3枚目のアルバム「ディープ・シャドウ・アンド・ブリリアント・ハイライツ」からのシングルカット。邦題は「プリテンディング」。フィンランド・チャート1位。
シーソーに乗ったメンバーの姿を同乗したカメラで追うプロモビデオ。メンバーの姿が固定となり背景が前後に動く、迫力ある映像だ。
メイキングにはメンバー以外に、派手な衣装のドラッグクイーンがシーソーに乗っているシーンがあるのだが本編には使用されていない。別バージョンがあるのかも？
