ジョン・レノンが遺したデモテープを元に、ポール・マッカートニー、ジョージ・ハリスン、リンゴ・スターの3人が手を加えて完成させた"ザ・ビートルズ"の新曲第2弾。別テイクや未発表曲を収録した「ザ・ビートルズ・アンソロジー２」からのシングルカット。邦題は「リアル・ラヴ」。全英チャート4位。
レコーディング風景をベースに過去の映像等をコラージュしている。イメージ映像として挿入された、楽器が空に舞い上がっていくシーンが印象的。
「ビートルズ・アンソロジー」DVDに収録されているのは、一部の映像を差し替えたNEWヴァージョン。
このプロモーション・ビデオ制作時に、カット割りのタイミング検討のため、ケヴィン自身のリードヴォーカルを重ね録りした音源が存在。一部のビートルズの海賊盤CDに収録されている。
