ジム・キャリーとトミー・リー・ジョーンズが敵役を演じた、映画『バットマン フォーエバー』。U2による主題歌。邦題は「ホールド・ミー、スリル・ミー、キス・ミー、キル・ミー」。全英チャート2位。アニメーションと実写を組み合わせた作品。
ゴッサム・シティで開催された"ZOO TVツアー"。交通事故にあったボノは改造されマクフィストとして甦るのだった…。
途中看板に"Mr.Pussy's"と書いてあるバージョンと、"Mr.Swampy's"と書いてあるバージョンが存在する。MTVから"Mr. Pussy's"にクレームが入ったため差し替えたらしい。ちなみに"Swampy"はケヴィンの愛犬の名前だそうだ。
共同監督のモーリス・リンネンは、アイルランド出身の監督。デビュー作はMTVでのU2のドキュメンタリー番組。U2では他に「ザ・フライ」「ワイルド・ホーセズ」のプロモーションビデオを監督している。2010年にジェイン・ワイズナー主演のコメディ"A Kiss For Jed Wood"で劇映画監督デビューした。
