後にピーター・ヌーン脱退後のハーミッツのリード・ヴォーカリストとなるピーター・カワップのソロ・デビュー・シングル。両面ともカワップとグレアム・グールドマンの共作。"Hillary"はグレアムの父親の名前だが、グレアムがペンネームとしてしばしば使用していた。共にエリック・スチュアートのプロデュースの元、ストロベリースタジオで録音された。
同じマンチェスター出身だったカワップとグレアムはダウンライナーズ・セクトの最後のシングルとなった"The Cost Of Living"の共作で知り合い、意気投合する。モッキンバーズの最後のシングルとなった"How To Find A Lover"もカワップ作。
